Who we are

WolfPack Bets (“we,” “us”) operates the WolfPack Bets web app at wolfpackbets.com and related staging hosts (for example v2.wolfpackbets.com). The app helps golf groups track scores, games, and pack rosters.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

• Account data (members): username, display name, email, password (stored hashed on our server—we do not store your plain-text password), pack address (namespace), and optional pack display name.
• Roster data: player names, handicap index, optional GHIN id, phone, email, and location when you or your pack add them.
• Play data: courses, tees, hole yardages and pars, round dates, scores, and game settings (Wolf, Skins, Vegas, Decider, Train, etc.).
• Pack settings: choices such as whether your pack shares its course list, player list, or round history with others who know your pack address.
• Round visibility: per-round settings of private, followers-only, or public (including shareable scorecard links when enabled).
• Device storage: most data is kept locally in your browser (IndexedDB) so you can play offline on the course.
• Cloud backup (members): when you use Save to cloud, we store a JSON archive of your pack on our server.
• Session: a login session cookie so you stay signed in.
• Password reset: if you request a reset, we send a one-time link to your account email (valid for a limited time).

How we use information

We use data to run the app: scorekeeping, backups, imports from other packs, league competitions, live round viewing links, pack follow relationships, and the shared Course Library.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising trackers in the app.

Where data is stored

• On your device — default for guests and members; you control clearing it via browser or app data settings.
• On our servers — when you register, sign in, save to cloud, publish to your pack URL, or (for site administrators) update shared library content.
• Visible to others — only when you or your pack enable sharing (public lists, public or followers round visibility, live broadcast links, or mutual pack follows). Import from pack only copies items you select; it does not silently pull another member’s full history.

Sharing you control

You decide how open your pack is. Public round links and follower-only scorecards work only when you set visibility accordingly and save to cloud where required. Pack addresses act like a share code: people who know it may import courses or players you have marked public.

Retention and deletion

• Local data remains until you remove it or clear site data on your device.
• Cloud pack files remain until you delete your account (where available), an administrator removes them, or we retire inactive data under our operational practices.
• Courses and players used in saved rounds may be archived on your device so history keeps correct names and scorecards.

Security

We use HTTPS for traffic to our servers and restrict who can write pack files. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong password and do not share it.

WolfPack Bets is a recreational golf tool, not a regulated health or financial service.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we have done so and we will delete it.

Service providers

We rely on hosting and infrastructure providers to serve the website and API. They process data only to provide those services to us.

Your choices and rights

• Guest play without an account.
• Export or restore your pack (members) via My pack.
• Adjust public sharing toggles in your profile and round visibility on each round.
• Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us at the address above.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of the Privacy Policy page shows the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
